A Panau Postmortem

Even with the sloppiest, most non-intentional player actions and circumstances, death just seems to happen in Just Cause 2. Unless you’re letting the game idle for hours upon hours, chances are good that many a faceless soldier–or bystanding island resident–has met his end due to your appropriate reckless abandon and ostensibly omnipotent grappling hook.

The scale of life and death has to balance, though, and from the looks of this video–which maps 11 million player deaths via terrain impact (aka, you probably should’ve grappled the ground) across the entirety of JC2‘s expansive environment–it probably has.
