So Hulu Plus is coming to Xbox Live today. It is a thing now.
In case you don’t have Netflix or don’t care for its uppity red envelopes, or prefer to watch recent episodes of TV shows and could care less about movies, now there’s another option for your streaming video needs. Whether or not this creates any sort of conflict between the two remains to be seen, but for now it’s nice to have options. And if you’ve been wanting to try out Hulu Plus, now is the time. From today (4/29) to next Friday (5/6), Hulu Plus will be free. Not just the regular free, either. We’re talking completely free. Even for Silver Members.
Who should we thank for this gracious gesture? Why none other than the manly men (and women) over at Jack Link’s Beef Jerky. They’ve decided to sponsor Hulu Plus for its first week on Live, so everyone with a 360 and an internet connection will get the chance to see what all the fuss is about. I know, I think it’s kind of weird, too.
After the free period is over it’s back to Gold Member exclusivity and a $7.99 a month subscription fee, but considering the fact that Netflix costs roughly the same amount it shouldn’t be that hard to just pick one already.

Handy that this happens just as PSN goes down, so that I can’t watch Hulu on my PS3…
Conspiracy!
