For we, the unfortunate souls without iPads, it’s been a rough month of sitting back and watching everyone else gush over Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP. Thankfully the torturous wait is just about over. Superbrothers just announced the details pertaining to the iPhone/iPod Touch release, and they look sexy.
Anyone with the iPad version will be able to update in order to make it universal. If you haven’t purchased it yet, there’s no time like the present and it’s well worth the $4.99 from what I hear. If you have no iPad and will never get one (guilty), then you can also grab Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP Micro for $2.99 when it releases. Both the update and Micro will be available “shortly before Thursday, April 21st.” The micro version is exactly the same as the original, only it’s specifically meant for smaller Apple devices. And it’s $2 cheaper.
Keep a sharp eye out for our inevitable review; I’m going to be inhaling this game the moment it hits the App Store.
