Anyone who’s in possession of one of Apple’s little doohickeys knows that, quite often, stuff goes on sale. Sometimes it’s on sale for a dollar off, sometimes for a dollar, period. And then sometimes games are free. They aren’t always great games, these freebies, but sometimes the stars align and you can get your hands on something truly special for no cost whatsoever. Regardless, free is still free.

So free stuff is really nothing new, but free awesome stuff is something else entirely. In this case, access to a free download of 100 Rogues is more than a little worth mentioning. Everyone who’s familiar with the title is no doubt scrambling to find a Wi-Fi signal on their iDevice right now, but those of you who are still with me probably need a little primer: 100 Rogues is arguably the best Roguelike available for iOS. If not for the existence of Epic Dungeon, it could even be considered the best Roguelike ever. Random dungeons, multiple levels, unidentified gear, honest-to-goodness animations and several characters to choose from with their own abilities and skill sets make it an absolute Must Have for fans.

It’s totally worth the typical $3 asking price, and it’s an absolute steal at $0. So get off your ass and get to downloading.
