Over the past week and for three more days, Xbox Live has been discounting a lot of random stuff. A whole bunch of content, from Alan Wake DLC to the full version of Perfect Dark, received price cuts. So why make a big deal out of it now? Simple. Because for the rest of today, you can get all three of Mass Effect 2‘s major DLC add-ons (i.e. story stuff, not weapon and armor packs) for 200 MS points each. Just to help put things in perspective, that’s like getting all three for the price of one, give or take fifty cents or so.

I’ll repeat that, because it needs repeating: right now up until the end of the day you can download Kasumi – Stolen Memory, Overlord and Lair of the Shadow Broker for $2.50 each. $7.50 if you were to get all of them at once. If for some reason you’ve held off on buying these add-ons, or you live under a rock and just crawled out from under it to finally start playing Mass Effect 2, now is the time to loosen those purse strings. Seriously, these prices are a complete steal. Pun intended but still valid.
