My my, where did November slip away to? Much as I loathe to admit it, we’re extremely close to saying goodbye to 2010.
This doesn’t mean we’ve resigned to let the remaining days slip through our hands, though. We’re putting together some End-of-the-Year features, awards, and various other whatnots to send ol’ 2010 off right. We also have a heaping stack of content lined up for the weeks ahead, including an ample number of review and features, and maybe even an episode of Team DeathChat or two.
And aside from writing about them, we’ll keep playing games, because that’s what we do.
Games that might happen to include…
Rob T.: Well, by the time this goes up, I will have already finished both The Force Unleashed II and Splatterhouse, so I think this weekend will be more about fighting my oldest and greatest nemesis — Backlog!
Scott: Donkey Kong Country Returns!!!
Dustin: I’d like to pretend that I’ll get back into Fallout: New Vegas or practice up in Rock Band 3, but let’s face it: I’m gonna be in Reach, putting a dent in that Colonel promotion.
Beki:I’m gonna be playing lots and lots of Recettear: An Item Shop’s Tale. Because I’m unashamedly addicted to it. Maybe some of the other lovelies I picked up in the Steam sales — like Knights of the Old Republic.
Rob R.: With Fable III, and now Splatterhouse, in the bag I’ll probably be bouncing back and forth between whatever I feel like playing. Which will most likely be more Splatterhouse. Oh, and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. Lot’s of AC:B. I normally detest competitive multiplayer but damn it if I don’t love it in this game. It makes the solo campaign seem boring by comparison.
Sage: I’m stabbing people in the face in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. I’m neglecting lots of obligations to do that.
Nate: I also plan on doing some face-and-neck stabbing, though mine will occur in the original Assassin’s Creed. To continue my trend of playing only the best and newest, I’ll probably dig into Brutal Legend, and redeem my evening with the ol’ standby, Valkyria Chronicles II.

In case anyone is curious, I’m spending the weekend dead for tax purposes.
Hey Hayley! You out there? What are you up to?
My plans didn’t quite pan out. I finally hit level 10 for Brotherhood’s multiplayer, but with the Indie Uprising in full swing I’ve been up to my eyeballs in indie games. Both for the Dome and for special Uprising features.
Here I am!
Since I spend some time during my week in the thrilling world of retail, my weekends can get pretty busy this time of year.
…but games!
I’ll be throwing time into Pinball FX 2. Some ne’er do well went and stole my high scores. Now he’s showing up on my menu as the Pinball King – crown and all. That can’t stand!
I also just started Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. I imagine my Sunday night will be full of sneaking and stabbing. Fun for the whole family! =)
