Have your weekends been lacking that extra something special? Do you get a nagging feeling that something is missing every Friday? You’re not crazy, just in dire need of Weekend Warriors!
Fortunately for you and the countless others suffering from this affliction, Weekend Warriors will be returning to its former glory, starting this week. We realize it’s been quite some time since this weekly community article has appeared (not since March, in fact), and we’ll be doing our best to keep it on its regular schedule. Also, we’re planning to fiddle with the formula a bit over the next couple weeks, so keep checking in!
On to the games!
I’ve kept fairly busy these past several weeks; aside from powering through both Mafia II and Valkyria Chronicles II for review, I’ve tried to devote some time to finally playing Metroid Prime Trilogy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 before Kirby’s Epic Yarn comes out.
What about you? Hit up the comments below and tell us your weekend gaming plans!

First off, thanks to Nate for resurrecting the spectre of WW. As he mentioned, there may be some changes coming soon to the feature, so keep your eyes peeled.
As for me, I’ve been doing pretty bad at playing the “Get Updates Out On Time” game. I hate when I fail at this one.
I’ve also been playing Comic Jumper (my review, of course, is up), Alan Wake (finally!) and I just beat the adventure mode of Plants Vs. Zombies on XBLA a few hours ago.
Reach, Reach, and more Reach. Maybe some Blade Kitten, if I wanna mix it up. The end of this month will be packed with Rock Band 3, Fallout: New Vegas, and Kinect stuff, so I’m squeezing in as much as I can.
I’ve been juggling my time between a glut of XBLA indie games (for the Indie-Dome, of course), some random iPhone games (RougueTouch for $1? *swoon*) and I keep coming back to one game in particular that shall remain nameless as there’s a review forthcoming and I don’t want to spoil anything.
It’s been all Dead Rising 1 & 2 on this end along with Atelier Rorona & Popful Mail, man speaking of wich, all of you need to go out & buy the Atelier games! they are a-fucking-mazing! that is all…
also Tinker Knight & Cresecendo syphmphony (japanese Indie XBLA games) are amazing, I thinkk almost all of the japanese games on the indie market are amazin sans a few, I have nearly all of them…
