Hey there, kids! Who’s up for a slice of justice with a side of comedy? Show of hands?
Well, you’re in luck! To celebrate this week’s upcoming release of Ron Gilbert’s DeathSpank (yes, that’s right – The Secret of Monkey Island‘s Ron Gilbert) on XBLA and PSN, our friends over at EA and Hothead Games have graciously provided us with some free copies of the game for our loyal readers. So if you’re down for a little Diablo-style action-RPG gameplay mixed with a liberal dose of humor, we’ve got your hook-up.
However, there’s a catch. There’s always a catch, after all. We’re not going to just do the typical random drawing sweepstakes this time around. We’re going to make you work a little bit for it.

How To Win:
Ron Gilbert’s games are renowned for their sense of humor and DeathSpank is no different. We want to see you all stretch your creativity out there in a good ol’ fashioned Caption Contest!
Below you will find a gallery of 12 screenshots from the game. We want you to pick one of them (any one works) and then flex your comedy muscles by adding the best humorous caption to it that you can muster up.
How To Enter:
You can then submit your entry as follows:
- Register – If you haven’t already done so, register for the site. You can find the login on the far right of the site, just below the staff bar. This is required so that we have a valid email address or other means of contact by which we can send you your code. Entries that do not have registered accounts on the site will not be eligible.
- Comedy – Come up with something funny. Come on – you can do it!
- Comment – Leave your entry in the comments section below in the following format: “Your Caption Here” (Picture #1-12 – Platform Preference)
We’ll pick the two best winners from all the qualifying entries on the evening of Saturday, July 17th and will notify them shortly afterward.
