You see, Konami has decided to give Arc System Works (of Guilty Gear fame) the task of bringing us a 2D side-scrolling shooter that shares everything from their classic franchise except the name. Anyway if by some odd chance you weren’t entirely sold by the simple knowledge that a successor to what is perhaps Konami’s greatest game ever is in the works, well then there’s something wrong with you. Diagnoses aside, if you somehow weren’t swayed by that bit ‘o news then these videos aim to fix that (heh, I said “aims.” Get it?).

Could be fun to play Contra with twin sticks. But I’ve always found 3D models in 2D to look kind of cheap. I’ll check it out if they put out a demo.
