Best wrap all of your rooms in plastic sheeting, Dexter-style, because this house is about to get splattery. Well, not right now, mind you. But this Fall, definitely. More specifically, Halloween… or thereabouts. Sorta.
Speaking to GameSpot, Namco Bandai reps have confirmed that Splatterhouse, the long-delayed remake of the gore-smeared, side-scrolling, 16-bit brawler is due to hit shelves somewhere around All Hallows Eve, which falls on a Sunday this year. Sunday, as we all know, is prime Nintendo territory, so chances are they’re probably referring to the week leading up to Halloween. Still, oddly scheduled release dates like that aren’t unheard of, so who can say?
It shall remain a spooky Halloween mystery until we hear more specifics. Still, I can’t help but be a little excited. How about all of you?
