Those expecting a bit of stealthy, tactical, team-based shooting this fall are out of luck. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot noted during yesterday’s investor’s briefing that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier would miss its original holiday 2010 release window.
Citing a “very competitive environment” and the opportunity for “additional time to our development teams to realize their vision,” Guillemot suggested the title would fall into the company’s March quarter 2011.
We’ll likely get a better picture of the latest Ghost Recon game during Ubisoft’s E3 press conference, which we will be sure to yank every bit of information from in order to satiate your never-ending Just Dance appetite. Stay tuned, CFD! faithful.
