A new day dawns and CFD!’s Team DeathChat returns, despite a few weeks of missed dates, being one man down, and not a few technical glitches this time around.
Also, did I happen to mention that I was very tired when this episode was recorded? Well, I was. This is what’s to blame for my lack of focus and grade-school fits of laughter.
I wasn’t drunk. I promise.
Seriously.
Enjoy!

CFD!’s Team DeathChat
Episode 4 – 5/18/2010
Look who’s back! The Team DeathChat crew may be down a man this week (Rob Rich is out due to “real life”), but the rest of the boys return for more nonsensical ramblings, technical difficulties, and other hijinks.
Join us as we meander our way through talks about After Burner Climax, even more Heavy Rain (with a visit from Future Scott), Facebook Family Feud (?!), Dead to Rights: Retribution, Skate 3, the Halo: Reach beta, and Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition.
Along the way we protect our scrotums from superhuman dogs with a taste for human flesh, giggle innanely over the People of Wal-Mart, argue about EA Sports’ upcoming Project $10 variant so much that Rob loses his internet, and beg (threaten?) you for money with the promise of CFD!’s own version of Game Crush. Yeah, it’s going to be one of those shows.
Strap in, kids. It’s going to be a bumpy ride.

Love the new art, by the way. :)
That comes courtesy of Aubrey and Zuri, as per usual. Also, you’ll note one of the computers is supposed to be a Mac. We didn’t want Rob R. to feel left out ;)
Ha ha the art rules.
EDIT: All better now!

Podcast feed is momentarily on the fritz, people. Working on it now – trying to re-upload the show.
I agree, fantastic art.
Haha, nice! I get to be the red one! :D
Right on guys. Dug and stumbled. :)
Heheh, Honey Bunches of Throats.
See? See the fun you missed? ;P
I was OUT OF TOWN!
I’d never intentionally miss out on a good argument about DLC. ;)
Good show today guys.
Thank you, sir. I would hardly say we were in top form, however. I was especially out of it. :P
I’m sure you guys will get the hang of it soon. With time, the awkward pauses and ums will diminish, and you will work like a well oiled machine.
PS: Sage needs some Paxil if he is going to continue doing the news. Poor guy abhors it.
Well the biggest problem with the awkward pauses and such is that since none of us can see each other’s faces during recording, we don’t have non-visual cues for when somebody is about to start/stop speaking, etc. Thus is the issue with Skypecasting. I mean, I guess we could turn on webcams, in theory, but that would probably strangle the audio bandwidth.
I dunno – something to think about. Guys? Wanna try that next time? Or maybe do a short test with video to see how the sound works out?
Jeez…sorry. :P I know, listening to it again did hurt a bit. Maybe it was because I hear the same news all the time in other podcasts or because I felt my workday growing ever nearer…
Realism is the bastard child of quarter-eater arcade games and the Power Glove. Make it go away!
