Developers Ninja Theory, the team that brought you the PS3 exclusive Heavenly Sword, have finally released the first video glimpse at their new multiplatform title, Enslaved, over at GameTrailers.

The game, set in a post-apocalyptic world, follows Monkey and Trip as they attempt to flee from some angry looking robotic beasties. The catch? Trip has slapped a control device on Monkey that will kill him if he tries to abandon her. Sounds like the beginning of a beautiful friendship, eh? I predict they’ll be kissing before the end of the game.

Enslaved, only seen heretofore in screenshots, supposedly contains some elements of the classic Chinese tale, Journey to the West, and I have to admit, it looks pretty darn spiffy in motion. Enjoy the GT trailer for now – we’ll replace it with our own once video is available. Done.
