Things have been quiet on the Starkiller front since  they first announced Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away (read: last year’s VGAs on Spike).

Two days ago (May 4th – Star Wars Day for those not in the know) that changed as a transmission came in from a far distant planet called Facebook.

I guess LucasArts decided the date was too good to let pass without releasing some info. So we got an official release date for the game. October 26th, 2010.

Also, since we never got around to posting it when the VGAs actually happened, enjoy the original teaser trailer for the game. Mutant super-rancors? Sure, we’ll take it!
