It feels like winter is finally on the outs around here in Western Michigan. The temps have been creeping up into the 40s, the huge mass of snow is melting off and there’s this strange, bright, hot ball in the sky that seems like it should be vaguely familiar, but I can’t quite place it for some reason.
Still, it’s not quite nice enough out to be planning picnics and other outdoor excursions just yet, so you know what means – more video games!
Oddly enough, this is the first weekend in a while where I’ve actually been playing stuff instead of just writing about it. This weekend’s fare consists of what I’d much rather have been looking at for the last three months instead of snow: Heavy Rain. Not sure if anything else will be in the plans for this weekend yet, but I wouldn’t rule it out.

Heavy Rain got finished off just a bit ago, so I went back to *ugh* Army of Two in an effort to finish it off… Meh.
Well, I’m still waiting (2 weeks in) for Dantes Inferno to show up from a contest…so I’m not doing anything with that.
I may possibly dabble in Bioshock 2 MP again, maybe give the game another play through.
Other than that..I’ll probably just be wasting my time with MW2.
At least that’s how it’s going so far. Sunday is a new day, we’ll see how that goes.
For some odd reason, once I finished Heavy Rain I started playing Borderlands again and I’m totally hooked. I’ve been trying to finish my first playthrough, then get The Secret Armory of General Knoxx.
Well, Army of Two is in the can now as well.
I’m… still reeling from it. So much dudebro-osity.
I’m playing the work and travel home game. Also, squeezing in some Bad Company 2 multiplayer. Lots of fun, but more on that later…
Eh…
Decided to pick up Half-Life 2 again. I just couldn’t bring myself to enjoy it as much as the first way-back-when. I’m liking it a little now though for some reason.
I spent last night (or this morning, depending on your take on it) watching District 9 for the first time. Wasn’t my best “Hey lets cuddle and watch a movie!” choice ever, but screw it, I liked it.
Other than that…..that’s about all that was new for Sunday.
