What I’m really hoping for is a good soundtrack in the spirit of the first three games. Please, Sega, no more butt rock.

Word. It’s all going to come down to pricing. If it’s only a few levels for $14.99 or even $9.99… well, let’s just hope it doesn’t come to that.

Also, I’m a pretty big fan of SEGA, but I really wish they would’ve come up w/ this before New Super Mario Bros. Wii launched. Some people are probably going to think they’re just cashing in on the same concept (which to some degree they sort of are) and write it off completely.

Oh well, it’ll be interesting to see how things turn out.

I hear you. The game mechanics should be great, but I worry about the way it’s going to be delivered. Now if Episode 1 is the equivalent of a full game, and future episodes are simply level packs using the same engine, I think I’d be ok. But if each episode is 2 or 3 levels long, I will be very disappointed.

I’m not sure how I feel about episodic Sonic, but the whole 2.5D thing is alright w/ me! “Please don’t suck!” ^_^
