“To the Victor Go the Spoils” – Team Fortress 2 Update Winner Announced

Finally, after a week-long war, the results have come in. If you’ve been paying any attention to the numbers, you probably already know the answer, but for those of you who haven’t… Well this will be an exciting surprise, won’t it? I bet you’re shaking in your boots with anticipation. Who is it?! Who is it?!

And the winner is… The Blue Soldier!

Yes, they were ahead throughout the entire thing, but only took prize by a slim margin of 30,000 kills. I mean, we all should have seen it coming; the easiest class going up against well… not the easiest class. It’s hard to kill people with those little grenades!

But now that that’s said, onto the prize! Yes, if you remember, there was a prize at stake for the competition. We all thought that it would be a new gun, but how wrong we were. Instead, we’re given the Gunboats. These reinforced boots greatly reduce the damage done by rocket jumping, “rendering stairs forever useless”. They take up the secondary slot in case you were wondering.

And that’s that! The update is live now, so go play! Get some fancy new items, whether it be through playing or crafting, and most of all, have a great time killing each other on the new maps!
