When Lead Gameplay Designer Christina Norman says that nobody is better than Mass Effect 2‘s biotic-wielding Adept at battlefield control, she may well be right. But when she says they’re without par when it comes to “killing enemies without firing a shot”, she’s being just a wee bit disingenuous.
Sure, they may not be filling their foes full of smoking laser holes or packing them full of bullets, but I think using telekinetic ‘mind-bullets’ (if I may quote Tenacious D for a moment) that can bend around corners and cover would most likely count as “shots” of a sort. Just because they may be less taxing on your party’s ammunition budget doesn’t mean the semantics fairy won’t come down on your head, Christina!
Oh well – enjoy the video anyway. It’s nice to see that the good old standard of tossing enemies skyward and then riddling them with shots (be they biotic or firearm in origin) still works as well as it did in the first game.
