Hello again, everybody!
After a missed week, Weekend Warriors returns again. We hope you didn’t miss us too much. We already feel bad enough for having slacked off as it is; we don’t need more of a guilt complex to compound the issue.
So what are you all playing out there this time around, beyond Turkey Coma IV and Black Friday Shopping Massacre? As for myself, I finally gave Borderlands a start. I also snagged both Dragon Age: Origins and Left 4 Dead 2 on sale today, so chances are pretty high that they’ll see some controller time this weekend too.
Beyond that, I’m not sure what else I’ll be up to. I just snagged a new 500GB external hard drive, so I’ll be relocating my music from off of my laptop which will clear up a ton of space. Maybe I can actually get around to installing all the games I’ve gotten recently on Steam that I haven’t been able to install.
How about all of you? Did any of you score some awesome deals today that’ll be occupying your disc trays in the near future? Sound off in the comments, as always, and let us know what you’re up to.

I’m playing Moving Mania. I’m on a particularly hard level where two people have to load an entire apartment into a truck and then drive all night to Las Vegas. Upon arriving at your destination you have to unload the truck before the cable guy gets there.
If I make it then I might play some Borderlands as a reward. I’m sure there are those that will disagree with me but for my money it’s the best FPS-style game this holiday season.
I’m playing Christmas shopping and driving back to school. I did manage to pick up Borderlands PC on Amazon for $20. The bad news is my level 20 character on PS3 will be neglected. :(
Work.. then hopefully more leveling on MW2. SNIPER RIFLE HO!!!
Assuming I can get all of my work done in a timely fashion, probably some Left 4 Dead 2, Borderlands, and/or some Brutal Legend. That is if you’re willing to meet on the ancient killing grounds, Rob. ;)
It’s still the weekend, so it’s not too late to chime in, I suppose. After wrapping up Uncharted 2 single player on Thursday, I spent a whole lot of time this afternoon playing the multiplayer. The Co-Op modes are so much fun!
Other than that, I picked up Comet Crash on PSN as it was on sale, and played a bit of that w/ the Mrs. — it’s a lot more RTS than I thought it would be. I wasn’t aware we’d be building units as well!
And yeah, capped things off w/ some FFXI this evening. Pretty solid so far!
I have knocked a few games off my list by beating Bioshock and finally playing thru the first CoD:MW. I’m now working on finishing off Mass Effect. Then it’s on to Devil May Cry 4 and Blue Dragon. =D
