Avatar Video Shows Na’vi Gameplay

Yes, yes – we get it already. “Environmentally Friendly Natives Good – Warlike White Man Bad.” Thank you, James Cameron for making sure that we will never forget this lesson when Avatar (and its related video game attachments) hits theaters next month.

Seriously though – while I do, for the most part, kind of agree with that statement (you might be surprised how much of a tree-hugger I am), one does have to wonder how bows-and-arrows and primitive melee weapons are supposed to take down space marines with power armor and automatic weaponry.

I suppose one could point toward the plucky Ewoks and their victory over the Empire, but let’s face facts here – Stormtroopers couldn’t seem to shoot straight to save their poor cloned lives and the Ewoks did have the home turf advantage.

Plus, they weren’t ten-feet tall with flying dinosaur mounts and (apparently) Predator-style cloaking devices like the Na’vi. I’m sure those help.
