Based on what I’ve been seeing on my Xbox Live friends list for the last few days, I think I can make a pretty safe assumption as to what a good number of you are going to be doing this weekend. Still, that doesn’t mean we won’t at least ask. Who knows? You could surprise us. Stranger things have happened, after all.
As for me, besides doing my best to try and not think about today being my birthday, I’ll be probably doing the same as many of you – playing Modern Warfare 2. I already got some multiplayer time in today, including a match with 1UP’s Tina Sanchez and one of the Infinity Ward devs, and I think there will be a fair bit more to come before the weekend is over. I also need to finally finish up the last bits of DJ Hero and Military Madness: Nectaris for review. I honestly should really be focusing on those to the exclusion of all else right now, but MW2‘s siren song is pretty hard to resist.

I’m going to take a break from Modern Warfare 2 and maybe get caught up on Assassin’s Creed 1 before Tuesday, other than that I’ll be playing PSN titles and checking out my Steam backlog.

None of that Modern Warfare nonsense for me. I’ll likely spend most of the weekend playing Bowser’s Inside Story and Trine, and brushing up on my Left 4 Dead skills before Tuesday.

As for meh, I ganked a copy of MW1 from a friend and am gonna work on that, as well as the copy of Borderlands I FINALLY got my hands on, so.. I should have a review of that up in about a week or so
I didn’t know or else I would have said something – Belated happy b-day, fellow Scorpio. I’m honesty just trying to forget it happened (mine, that is).
Luckily, MW2 mp and Mojitos are helping.
I probably won’t get much time for gaimng this weekend but, as incredibly lame as this might sound, I got a boxed copy of Breakout for the 2600 yesterday and what little time I get will probably be spent with that. You kids with your fancy Modern Warfares, a good paddle controller is all I need.
And, of course, a happy birthday to both of the Robs.
