Project Natal Info Leaked: Possible Release Window and Price Revealed

UK site MCV has managed to get ahold of some new info on Microsoft’s controller-free gaming peripheral, Project Natal, including a possible release window and price point.
Recently, Microsoft has been trying to encourage more development support for Natal and has been conducting a “behind closed doors” tour for UK publishers to demo the device and outline their 2010 plans. Not surprisingly, the details of those plans did not stay secret for long.
According to the leak, Natal will be launched worldwide in November 2010 and have a price point of under £50 (which XE.com tells me is just about $83US). 14 games are also planned to be released alongside the device on launch day, although there are no details yet on what they might be.
Besides games from some obvious first-party studios such as Lionhead and Rare, other major publishers such as Activision, Bethesda, Capcom, Disney, EA, Konami, MTV, Namco Bandai, Sega, Square Enix, THQ and Ubisoft have all said they would be supporting the device, so launch titles from any of those companies could be feasible. Mime Hero from Acti anyone? Come on, you know you want it.
Of course, Microsoft has not confirmed whether or not the leak is for real, and the launch may be handled slightly differently in North America than in Europe. But for now it looks like anyone looking forward to Natal still has a long wait.
