The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned Opens For Tourist Season November 24th

Normally, if there was an island infested with ”ferocious brain-eating zombies, carnivorous Were-Skags and more” I would be the last person to advocate actually visiting it. I mean, if they’re already isolated to a single island, why not just leave the zombies alone? Why even take the risk of exposing the general population to possible infection?  But I’m not even going to bother trying to talk you out of it. I know you won’t listen to me anyway. Not when there’s sweet loot for your Borderlands character to be had.

2K Games and Gearbox Software have announced that the first of a series of Borderlands DLC will be available on PSN and Xbox Live on November 24th (Sorry, no word yet on whether it will be available for PC).

The premise behind the downloadable content is that  the titular Dr. Ned has turned all the workers at Jakobs Cove, either nefariously, or perhaps just accidentally, into a mindless, flesh-eating army of the undead. The players will have to find the cure, defeat the zombies and reclaim Jakobs Cove for humanity. And hopefully collect some nice loot along the way…

You can pick it up on PSN for$ 9.99 and Xbox Live for 800 MS Points starting Nov. 24th. But if you come back infected with some kind of deadly zombie virus and wind up causing some big humanity ending apocalypse, just don’t say I didn’t warn you… ah hell, what am I saying? I’ll probably see you there.
