SCEA and Santa Monica Studios have revealed the God of War III Ultimate Edition via the Playstation Blog. After having polled the populace earlier this year on what would make a great special edition package, the pair have finally decided on a package that’s most definitely fit for the Gods.

The whole package comes bundled in a replica of Pandora’s Box, which looks absolutely stunning. Along with the game, you’ll find an Art Book containing interviews, content, and… well, art. The game also comes with a titan-sized amount of downloadable content, including a combat arena with seven challenges in an exclusive environment, a premium ‘Dominus’ skin for Kratos, a full-length documentary entitled God of War: Unearthing the Franchise, all three soundtracks in digital mp3 format, and God of War: Blood and Metal, a heavy metal tribute to the game which is also in mp3 format.
Now at this point you must be saying, “wow, that’s so much stuff! There couldn’t possibly be any more.” But wait, there is!
As of Friday, if you preorder God of War III, you’ll receive a free voucher code for the E3 demo of the game. If you are lucky enough to be able to preorder from Amazon, GameStop, or GameCrazy, then you’ll also get a free skin, based on early Kratos concept art. Finally, if you already signed up at GodofWar.com, you may have been randomly selected to receive a voucher for the demo, so check your inbox to see if you won.
