I know I’ve said it before, but this weekend really crept up without me noticing it. I’ve also been pretty busy outside site stuff though, so I guess that ate up the time before I realized it.
On the plus side, I finally got all of the games I had picked up over the last few months that never made it onto the rack now sorted in and organized. The bad news – the rack is totally full and I have about nine GameCube games without a home now. Time to start praying those Best Buy reward zone certificates pile up again so I can pick up another one on the cheap.
But enough of that – we’re here to talk about what we’re playing this weekend! I finally dipped my toe into the waters of Brütal Legend‘s multiplayer… and got promptly slaughtered in the process. I did pick up the “Six Degrees of Schafer” achievement, however, so I guess it wasn’t a total loss. I’ll likely do a few more matches as the other factions to get a better feel for it before settling in to finish my review. I’ll also probably be sneaking in a few more levels each of Military Madness: Nectaris and South Park Let’s Go Tower Defense Play! (again, for review).
Beyond those, I don’t know what else, if anything, I’ll get around to. The lead-up to the weekend has kept me pretty busy already, what with trying to scare up more writers for the site and such, so I doubt I’ll have as much free time as I’d like.

As a side note, if anyone out there is playing Brütal Legend’s multiplayer on Xbox 360 and wants to get the “Six Degrees of Schafer” achievement, let me know – we can set up a match.

As for this weekend, I’m going to try to get someone to play Gears 2 co-op with me, because I still have yet to play it. Late to the party, I know.
I have to spend this weekend writing my Proposal for my dissertation on “Dynamic Design in MMOs”. Lots of writing = no gaming. This makes me sad :(
AND I still haven’t played Brütal Legend!! D:
Demon’s Souls hasn’t left the PS3 since we bought it last Monday, so that’s what I’ll be doing tonight. I killed the spider boss by myself so I feel like I’m on a roll. Since it’s Friday, I’m hoping a lot of people will be on so I can kill the Old Hero boss tonight- that level is giving me a hard time. ^^
I got some work to do on Bioshock. This is officially doable for me though now that I am almost up to date on Heroes. I’m on the current season finally. I might play some Peggle and some Plants vs. Zombies as well. Depends on how sucked into Rapture I get. :)
Man I really want Demon’s Souls. I have been hearing so many good things about that game. First of course I’d have to get a PS3. But this game and Uncharted 2 are making me anxious to get one.
I wanna play! But I only have a Silver account. :(
Well, I’ve been thinking about getting a Gold account again (at least for another year), so maybe now is the time. If I do, I’ll let you know so we can try to destroy one another.
Aside from that, my weekend will most likely be consisting of Persona and, of course Demon’s Souls. I’ve managed to kill the end-level boss for every stage except one, so tonight will involve a lot of demon slaying. I’d also like to get more practice with PvP in that game, so I might just start a level and wait around for someone to invade me. I haven’t been killed by a Black Phantom yet, but I feel like I’m pushing my luck.
Should definately play Plants vs Zombies I love it so much ;P Was seriously addicted for about a month after it came out over here, I played it constantly and completed it like 3 times. I don’t even know why I love it so much, I think its those plants which fling butter at the Zombies and make them have a face like this O.o

Want to play more Brutal Legend and Forza 3, but I have a slew of reviews that need to be done. Magna Carta 2, Nostalgia, and wait for it… Astro Boy will be filling up my gaming weekend.
Just completed Halo 3 on Legendary, so I think I’ll be working on ramping up the difficulty in ODST while I still have it out on rental. That, and training the girlfriend in Firefight till she gets better at the game as a whole. Oh yes, and editing the fuck out of Sandbox
