Bungie and 343 Industries have released the following video, giving Halo fans a short walkthrough of what they will find when the Waypoint fan portal launches on Xbox Live next month – November 5th to be specific.

For those interested in the game’s fiction and other promotional material, it’ll doubtlessly be interesting to have a source to turn to as soon as you boot up your console. Also, the consolidated stat tracking is nice and the Awards and Milestones will doubtlessly give achievement hounds something else to quest after.

It’s a little sad that there’s no way to factor in gameplay rewards from the first two Halo titles though. However, if things like Sony’s God of War Collection sell well, how much do you want to bet that Microsoft will be pimping a repackaged version of the first two games with, oh I don’t know, say… up-rezzed graphics and achievements?
