You know, it feels like it’s been a long while now since I’ve gotten a chance to play games for fun, rather than it being something I had the intention to review. Other than my brief Team Fortress 2 addiction the other week and occasional bouts of Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! pretty much everything I’ve been playing is something I’m going to be writing up.
Mind you, this isn’t to say I don’t enjoy playing games that I’m going to review, but I think you can understand why taking notes and playing with time constraints can sometimes put a damper on the fun. Oh well.
For this weekend, I’m going to be finishing up Brütal Legend (already making my way towards the endgame) before dipping back into Military Madness: Nectaris and South Park Let’s Go Tower Defense Play! I don’t see myself as having time to do much more than that, honestly, as I have a thousand and one site-related things I need to get done as well.

Forza 3 for review. Brutal Legend for fun.
Oh man, I just beat Brutal Legend. As in the credits are rolling while I’m typing this. Not to spoil anything, but “Wow!”
Now that that’s out of the way (not really. I still need to get that 100%. Because I actually WANT to.) I can get back to Demon’s Souls. ^_^
This weekend is all about finishing Uncharted 2 and playing Brutal Legend…and whatever else I can squeeze into the days (and with my hyperactive gaming schedule I’m sure it will mean playing a lot of other things).
Uncharted 2 only has a tiny bit to go. I think I’m a stone’s throw from the ending. What a terrific ride this one is – but I”m sure nobody needs me to tell them that. I do have minor nitpicks with it, such as a rehash of the same story from the first game, with names and places changed to support the “2″. Oh, and don’t get too enthusiastic about climbing out to cross beams and planks, because the AI characters have pushed me to my death repeatedly. So give them space!
I’m only about 30-45 minutes into Brutal Legend, so I have nothing to talk about there yet. Funny so far though.
I hope to get back to Demon’s Souls too. I’ve only defeated a few big demons and I have a rather nasty one waiting for me in the mines. Scary bugger!
Just finished up the single player on Brutal Legend at around 90%ish completion. Need to put in some time with the multiplayer modes before working on the review. Need to finish my damn Saw review first, however.
If it’s the demon I’m thinking of…
Yeah, not fun. Well, I mean, it’s FUN… Just not fun. :P
