Warner Bros. Interactive and MTV Games have revealed the fully assembled track listing for the upcoming Lego Rock Band and I must say that it’s a pretty eclectic bunch of songs. I suppose this shouldn’t be too surprising, however, since they’ve made the point that this isn’t just the “kiddie” version of the Rock Band franchise, but instead a version suitable for all ages. It’s sure as hell an arguably better selection than the newest Kidz Bop release, that much is for sure.
DLC to supplement the game’s 45 tracks will be available via the Lego Rock Band store, which will filter songs in from the regular Rock Band Music Store that have been deemed suitable for all ages. New tracks that are released from here out that are compatible with LRB will be marked as such.
And speaking of DLC, fans of keeping their hard drive packed full will have the option to import 100% of the game’s track list into Rock Band 2 via purchasing a code, similar to the original Rock Band. However, unlike the first time around, the code will run $10 (800 MS points) instead of $5 (400 MS points). Considering the main game is only retailing for $49.99, however, I suppose it’s not that bad.
