If ever there were a band deserving of its own standalone title/fan-gasm along the lines of The Beatles: Rock Band, it would most definitely be Queen. While today’s announcement may not be exactly that (awww), it’s pretty much the next best thing (yay!).

Harmonix has announced that coming in the fourth week of October to the Rock Band Music Store will be ten – count ‘em, ten! – classic tracks by the legendary British rockers. Speaking as someone who was raised on Queen, this will be a day one purchase for me, even though they have yet to announce pricing.

You can hit the jump for the full list and in the meantime, you have about 17 more days to grow out your best Freddie Mercury moustache, warm up your pipes and get your theatrical stage moves in order.

The Queen track pack includes:

  • “Another One Bites The Dust”
  • “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”
  • “Fat Bottomed Girls”
  • “I Want It All”
  • “I Want to Break Free”
  • “Killer Queen”
  • “One Vision”
  • “Somebody to Love”
  • “Tie Your Mother Down”
  • “Under Pressure”

OI! No “Don’t Stop Me Now”. Although, the rest should be fun.

  2. Apparently I’m going to be forced into buying Rock Band with all the stellar releases coming to it. I freaking love Queen! Although, I could never have a ‘stache as cool as Freddie’s.
