As we mentioned a few months back, Chilean development house, ACE Team, had been shopping around for a publisher for a proposed Xbox Live Arcade port of their bizarre first-person brawler, Zeno Clash.
It looks like they found a home with a publisher that’s no stranger to the bizarre as Atlus has just announced that it will be bringing Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition to XBLA in the Spring of 2010.
Hit the jump for a quote from the announcement.
The critically-acclaimed first-person melee action adventure honored for its unique visual style is headed to Xbox Live Arcade in the vastly enhanced and much improved Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition.
New modes, new features and added content, in addition to a series of improvements based on fan feedback, combine to make the definitive version of the game.
I picked this one up on Steam a couple of months ago based on the buzz and feel somewhat ashamed that I have yet to get around to playing it, having heard that it controls better using a wired 360 controller (which I don’t have on hand at the moment – curse my preference for wireless convenience!). Chances are, I’ll probably pick it up for XBLA when it hits anyway, just because games this unique need all the support they can get.

Yay! I was hoping I’d be able to play this somehow (no Windows PC).
