Team Ico head (and my third Japanese man-crush alongside Hideo Kojima and Suda 51), Fumito Ueda chats about some of the design elements that came together to form The Last Guardian, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.
He specificially says in the video below that he won’t talk about the story just yet, but that he likes the unexpected and that he wants to surprise people with the ending. Ueda-san, no offense intended, but we all know how the game will end. For those philistines among you who just want to get right to the trailer, skip ahead to 2:55 in. Nothing new gameplay-wise, but it’s full of adorableness.
