We all knew it was coming, following weeks of rumors, speculation and leaked sales flyer scans, but what’s more amusing to us is that Nintendo waited until Sony was in the midst of their TGS 2009 keynote speech to release the announcement.
Yes, kids – it’s confirmed. Starting this Sunday, September 27th, Nintendo’s waggling white wonder will be dropping from $249 to $199 in the US after almost three years on the market. Assuming you’re one of about seven or eight people on the planet who don’t yet own one, now might be the time to consider it.
Now that all three major home consoles have seen price drops, we all get to sit back and watch as they begin the sprint into Fall and the all-important holiday shopping season.
