We already know that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is loosely based on the 2006-07 “Civil War” storyline (ironically enough, right around the time I fell out of buying comics most recently). For those not familiar with it, “Civil War” pitted a government sponsored team of heroes, led by Iron Man, out to enforce the newly enacted Superhuman Registration Act against the resistance, led by Captain America.

Needless to say, there was animosity and hurt feelings on both sides of the coin, which is pretty evident in the launch trailer for next week’s release. Remember kids: when in doubt, don’t fight – hug it out! Enjoy.
