Dungeons & Dragons? Try Carnage & Cleavage in New Dragon Age Screens

07

BioWare keeps reassuring everyone that all the supposed sex and violence in Dragon Age: Origins is relevant in terms of the game’s story and character development and we believe them… for now. I mean, they haven’t really steered us wrong yet, right?

But when we see fountains of arterial spray and females wearing chest coverage so scant as to be almost non-existent, we know that many people less familiar with BioWare’s track record may knee-jerk. It remains to be seen if Fox News will be getting their panties in a knot over this one.

I’d trust BioWare to turn out a great game even if they told me Hannah Montana would be appearing in a starring role. I”m sure the blood and sex will fit into what they give us and that it won’t feel gratuitous at all.

I’m so excited about Dragon Age that I avoided the booth at PAX so it would all be brand new when I press start.

I would have had to do the same thing with Brutal Legend if I’d been anywhere it was demoed – and good on you for escaping the smallPAX outbreak. ;P

I’m still sad we couldn’t go though.

This game just looks like every kind of awesome all rolled up into one. And since it’s from BioWare, you can pretty much assure that it is. =D
