Modern Warfare 2 – Would You Like Flags with Those Frags?

Infinity Ward is releasing some oddly named game this November. I believe it’s called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.  For the life of me though I can’t figure out why there’s a 2 in the name because nobody’s ever heard of the first one.  Oh well – some developers just can’t seem to pull it together.

Here’s a video showing off some of the game in action (capture the flag, specifically) for those of you that care.

Okay, in all seriousness, I loved the first game and was addicted to multiplayer for months and months after its release.  I did have a few gripes with it, however, but that video just took all of my gripes, crumpled them up into a little ball, and threw them out a window.  The game is looking fantastic and I can’t wait to get my hands on it November 10th.

Just a little informal poll here.  How many PS3 owners would be interested in forming up a CFD! clan for MW2?

  1. Ok I read your post, while watching the video. I was like really WTF is Jason talking about. Then we get the bit after the launch date and I was right there with you sir. Day 1 can’t wait and sign me up for a CFD! clan on the PS3

  2. I would absolutely love to have a PSN clan for MW2. Most of the time I have Mr.X as my clan tag when I’m playing CoD4 or 5. I play WaW a ton still, even though I’m better at MW and MW is more balanced. I don’t know why I do that… MP40 noobs stink.

So, yeah, I would love to have a PS3 MW2 clan. Would the clan tag bee CFD or could we do Mr.X. It just sounds that much cooler. lol

  3. As far as all of that goes, I guess I may have to rethink my purchase. I was originally planning on picking up MW2 for 360 (I prefer shooters/online FAR more on 360) but if this is where you guys are trending, I may shift towards PS3 on this one. Meh. If I had the money, I’d do both. :P

  4. I wish there was a way to edit comments…
