Gr3ml1n GamingWell, the CFD! six month anniversary free game giveaway is over and it looks like bribery works. Rewarding interaction with extra entries got you all to stop being so quiet and non-participatory out there and we’re rather pleased with the response.

Thanks go to all of you who joined-up, spoke up and generally made this one of our better weeks, even if it was a bit news-light. Thanks to everyone who re-tweeted our contest (including 1up/EGM/Current alum, Phil Kollar, soon-to-be of Game Informer) and got involved. Just generally thanks to everyone who’s helped keep us going for the last six months.

“But enough of that,” you say. “Who won?” Good question. However, for the answer to that you’ll have to wait until tomorrow. It won’t be too long to hold out, will it?

We thought not. See you then.

  1. What! I don’t want to wait until tomorrow :P

  2. Oh, that’s so brutal!!

  3. One more day isn’t to bad I suppose. It has been nice this week though to see a community start to form around here. Hopefully it doesn’t stop now that the contest has ran it’s course. :)

  4. That’s the hope. I can’t afford to give away a $60 game every month, but I do have a couple of small things to give away in the upcoming weeks here and there.

  5. Pretty exciting! I’m actually pretty excited to know who won. Hopefully everyone sticks around. Maybe we can do something like this every 6 months? Could be cool!

  6. Ideally, I’d love to do something like that. I just would hate to see interaction flag for the other five months between.

I’ll make sure I stick around this time. I switched to a new computer and all my favorites from before sort of never made the jump to the new computer. So now that it’s back on my list I’ll make sure to drop by as much as I can. It’s a nice site.

  8. Too bad our contests never work this well. We barely get any comments. It’s discouraging…

  9. Don’t get discouraged. You guys do good work!

  10. today is tomorrow yesterday.
