Turtles in Time Launch Trailer Pushes Your Nostalgia Buttons
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled jump-kicks its way onto Xbox Live Arcade this week. The video above shows off the jazzed-up graphical revamp while the use of the classic theme song from the animated series drags you right back to their heyday in the late 80s/early 90s.
Personally speaking, I would prefer to see the turtles return to their more gritty, violent roots (ie: the early Mirage Comics days). However, the catchphrase-spouting, full-color, fun-loving Heroes in a Half-Shell are the versions more fully ingrained in the public consciousness and, thusly, more marketable. Oh well.
