Remember when all those people who were boycotting Left 4 Dead 2 said that, with its release, Valve wasn’t going to support the first game? That new content wasn’t going to see the light of day, let alone the power lights on our consoles? Well, it seems Valve has decided to serve up a nice big plate of crow to everyone who said such things by announcing new DLC coming to Left 4 Dead this September.
Entitled “Crash Course”, the new content takes place between No Mercy and Death Toll and includes a new campaign and survival maps. Also included are such additions as adding a recharge timer for infected teammates and changing the behavior of item spawn in order to deliver a more balanced experience. However, the press release wasn’t exactly clear if these elements were exclusive to “Crash Course” or if they would be implemented into the game as a whole. That being said, the DLC aims to create a full Versus-mode atmosphere in only 30 minutes time.
The content will be free to PC players, while 360 owners will have to pay out 560 space bucks. Hey, at least they’re actually bringing it to 360 and not pulling a Team Fortress 2 on the whole thing.

Yessir!!!!!!! Cant wait. I guess i have a reason to go pick this up again!
