As we stare over the edge into the abyss of CFD!’s 500th post (ie: the one after this one), we’re back again with a new poll after a couple of weeks off.
This week’s question is simple enough: “What do you think of the new site design?”
For those of you who are new to the site (and there are a fair few of you from what the server logs show) who may not have seen the old site, just tell us what you think of the site’s design in general. For the rest of you, how does it compare to the previous design in your eyes?
Keep in mind, it is a work in progress – more tweaks will be added over the next week or two. But by and large, a lot of the changes are in place.

My only complaint which isn’t really a complaint is that it fits kind of funny on my 10.2″ widescreen netbook. Otherwise, great job! I like it.
Sorry about that, man. I honestly don’t even have a screen here that small to preview it on. I think the smallest we have is like, 14in or so. I will freely admit that I haven’t tried optimizing it for other browsers though. I suppose with netbooks becoming more prevalent, I should be factoring for that too instead of just standard laptop resolutions.
I have no complaints really. Its actually pretty nice to keep updating and fine-tuning the site to keep it polished. Keep up the good work Rob.
Don’t worry about it Rob. Like I said, it’s such a minor detail to me. For the most part it fits fine, there’s just a little overlap in one or two spots and it squeezes it tight in the middle a little. I use Firefox and my netbook runs XP so I don’t think it’s a browser issue so much as a resolution issue on my end. But hey, I can still view it and that’s all I care about. :D Oh, and it looks fine on my work computer so I say Kudos on the site!
