Yep. Things look pretty quiet on the range today. Cattle are grazing and nary a hint of huge game news on the horizon. So, we’re going to take advantage of this to try and hammer out a few of those site updates.

One of the biggest problems with doing these updates is that I don’t want to take the site offline because when you’re small like us, every hit counts. But at the same time, you don’t want newcomers to the site seeing a jumbled mess scattered all over the place – first impressions and all that.

But with today looking kinda slow, this might be the perfect chance to handle some of the bigger updates rather than just waiting until the middle of the night to do them, as was previously planned.

So if you stop back at any point today (or if this is your first time visiting us…and if so, Hi!) and things look weird or if a link doesn’t work or content is missing, just mind the road cones and yellow tape everywhere. We’ll try to keep weirdness minimized.

Also, two more notes. First – to everyone who said that they would shop Amazon through us, we really appreciate it. It’s a struggle trying to keep a small site like this going out of pocket and every bit you can help with matters. Don’t forget that PayPal donation button works too! Secondly – you may have noticed we didn’t do a poll this week. Look for one either this weekend or next week, once the resdesigns are finished. We didn’t want to put one up, only to possibly have it down at times due to possible sidebar tweaks.
