The results of the E3 “Best of Show” Game Critics awards are in and it looks like Naughty Dog will be popping open a bottle of champagne tonight.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves took home three awards: Best of Show, Best Console Game and Best Action/Adventure Game. Meanwhile, the buzz-laden DS offering, Scribblenauts snatched up two for Best Original Game and Best Handheld Game respectively. Brütal Legend, sadly, was nowhere to be found amongst the winners, though it was nominated in four categories this year.
The Game Critics panel is made up of members of a variety of of print and web media publications, ranging from The Wall Street Journal to 1UP to Game Trailers. A fair number of high-profile titles at E3 were only hands-on to judges this year.
