I am convinced that the weekend possesses some magic, time-warping ability. It seems that no sooner after one installment of Weekend Warriors ends, I find myself writing the next. Weird.
Regardless, it’s time to report to your posts and ready yourself for another campaign. Weekend Warriors is GO!
My weekend is going to consist of finishing off my Evil run on inFamous and possibly starting Damnation. I’m not too sure what’s in my battle plan beyond that. Plans can definitely change without notice, as usual.
As for the rest of you, sound off! These games won’t play themselves, after all.

Well, I love RE5. I really do. One of these days I might even finish it. Unfortunately, I don’t think it will be this weekend. However, I’m going on a short road trip, so my old DS Phat will get some much overdue love. As far as RE5 goes, I’m sorry, but how can it compete with beautiful sunny days, and a gorgeous girlfriend? One of these days I’ll put it out of it’s poor, lonely, and neglected misery. Just not this weekend.
I plan on checking out the Final Fantasy tower defense game we downloaded from the Japanese PSN. The entire game is in English, which is awesome. I love the FF Tactics world, and the game uses the character from it. *Can’t wait to get off work to play it!*
Fido: Good lord, man – how long have you been working on RE5 now? I powered through it in three sittings. ;P
Sarah: Isn’t that one available on iPhone/iPod Touch and XBL as well? Or is this a different one?
Probably a day’s worth of Final Fantasy Tactics A2, capped off with an early morning session of Team Fortress 2.
I’d like to say I’ll be playing some more Final Fantasy VII on my PSP (thank you, PSN!), dragging myself through a few more chapters of Siren: Blood Curse (and keeping a change of undies handy), then finishing it off with some Valkyria Chronicles (which just came in the mail and I haven’t actually tried it yet). However I know that in reality I’m going to be sitting in front of the TV for hours on end playing Prototype (just over 10 hours in so far). It’s also very likely that most of that time will be spent just messing around with side missions, destroying infected water towers and generally causing random chaos just for fun.
Honestly if I didn’t need to sleep, eat, work and pay attention to my wife I’d probably never stop playing that game.
Rob – Yeah, I know it’s been a while. Unfortunately most of my sitdowns with it are 30 mins long. Once in a great while I get to put in more time, but it’s not very often.
