CFD Gets Ready 2 Rokk With Freezepop!

Freezepop by Frank VeronskyFresh and fruity synthpop trio, Freezepop – who you may know from their ubiquitousness in the music/rhythm video game genre – are embarking on a Spring tour of the Midwest that kicks off April 3rd in New York City. Check their site for locations and dates; if you’re going to be anywhere in the vicinity, you owe it to yourself to go experience one of the most fun live bands you’ll probably ever see.

But if you can’t make it out to see them (or are just unfortunate enough not to live anywhere near the tour route), don’t fret – CFD has your back. At their April 7th show in Lansing, Michigan, Crush! Frag! Destroy! will be conducting an exclusive interview with Freezepop and we want to give you, our dear readers, a chance to be a part of it (and win some spiffy-cool free stuff in the process, of course).

“Sounds great!” you say. “But what do I have to do?”

It’s quite simple, really – check under the cut for more details

When we sit down with Liz Enthusiasm, The Other Sean T. Drinkwater and Freezepop’s tour keytar-ist Seth Damascus-Kennedy (sadly, The Duke of Pannekoeken won’t be touring due to schedule conflicts) we will, of course, have our own set of questions ready to go. But we want to involve you all in the fun as well, which is where we come to the contest portion of things.

We want to know what you want to know about Freezepop

Ever had a question you’ve been dying to ask the band? Want to know Sean’s inseam length or just how many pairs of shoes Liz owns? For that matter, are you dying to to ask the QY-70 something? Now’s the perfect time to do so!

Submit your questions to contests@crushfragdestroy.com and make them good – you only get one question per person. We will pick a couple of the best ones to ask during the interview and then send you back some neat free stuff, signed by the band no less! Final number of winners will be determined based on the number of entries.

Sounds like a plan? We thought so too.

So, now you probably want to know what we need from you, right? Your email entry needs to contain the following:

  • Name (Real name and/or online nickname – Let us know which one you want to be referred to by in the interview.)
  • Mailing address (For mailing out prizes, should you win. Don’t worry – we won’t be sharing your info with anyone or sending you junk mail.)
  • Email address and/or IM name (For contacting you, should you win – same rules above apply.)
  • Your question (And who it’s for, be it the band as a whole or a specific member.)
  • Merch preference (CDs, posters, t-shirts, etc – please include color and size preference where applicable. No promises you’ll get what you ask for, but we’ll take the info into account just in case.)

Pretty simple, huh? We thought so too. So what are you waiting for? Less talk, more ROKK!

(Deadline for question submissions is Midnight, Eastern Daylight Time on Monday, April 6th, 2009. Good luck!)

Never heard of em before (I do live at the end of the world however) but after checking them out I bought their album on iTunes. Right on for scoring this upcoming interview.
