Metal Gear creator and surreal visionary, Hideo Kojima, fresh off the heels of picking up the Lifetime Achievement award at Wednesday night’s Game Developer’s Choice Awards paid a visit to the Apple Store in San Francisco for a Q&A session about the recently released Metal Gear Solid Touch for iPhone and iPod Touch.

Honestly, with as secretive and cryptic as Kojima is, it will be nigh impossible to tell what he’s planning. Still, any Metal Gear news is good news in my eyes.
I still need to get my hands on a PS3 and play the last game. Gah, why can’t I just have money any time I want?
Know what? I’ll make a prediction… what the hell. I’m thinking something motion picture related.
Metal Gear Raiden. I believe that is what IGN was saying but we’ll see. It wouldn’t really surprise me considering the characters “re-boot” in Metal Gear Solid 4 (he wasn’t a whine-ass). I hope its something full-fledged and not some side project. E3 is for big news!
Metal Gear / Snake’s Revenge on the Wii VC.
I correct myself: Metal Gear / MG2: Solid Snake on the Wii VC. The versions included in MGS3 Substance that weren’t included in the Metal Gear collection because Konami was cheap.
Failing that, a Snake’s Revenge remake.
Snake’s Revenge wasn’t a Kojima game though, it was done by someone completely different, and wasn’t considered canon at all. Though Kojima DID like someof the ideas presented, which led to MG2: Solid Snake. If anything, I’d be leaning toward the first two being remade.
Haven’t played MGS4 yet, but knowing what happens, and seeing some of the cutscenes I saw, Raiden did indeed get badass… I wouldn’t mind playing as him again.
Now, if they were doing this post MGS2… fuck that. Raiden sucked. :p

I know it isn’t a proper Kojima game, but that doesn’t mean he can’t incorporate the story or remake it in his own vision…
