Tonight saw the industry pat itself on the back for a job well done with the Game Developer’s Choice Awards at GDC, hosted by the ineffable, awesome-tastical Tim Schafer.
Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet was tonight’s LittleBigWinner, taking home four of the seven awards they were nominated for while Bethesda’s Fallout 3 took two, including Game of the Year.
Braid, Grand Theft Auto IV and Left 4 Dead were notably snubbed in every category they were up for. Metal Gear Solid 4 got passed by as well, but series creator Hideo Kojima picking up the Lifetime Achievement award at least helped take some of the sting off the boo-boo.
What more is there to say, really? Let’s get to who won, shall we?
