Guitar Hero: Metallica Demo Now On Xbox Live

guitar_hero_metallica_-_james_hetfield_and_robert_trujillo.jpgIt’s time to dust off that corner of your living room; you know the one I mean. The one that looks like a Fisher-Price version of Guitar Center or Sam Ash exploded all over it? Yeah, that’s the one I’m talking about.

Why’s that, you ask? I’ll tell you why, hypothetical person who only exists in my writing – the demo for Guitar Hero: Metallica is now available for download on Xbox Live.

If you can’t wait until your pre-order arrives at your store of choice on March 29th, Xbox Live Gold members can have a taste now. Featuring Quickplay, Head-to-Head, Face-off, Pro Face-off and Battle modes, you get to sample four new tracks: two from the titular thrash titans (“Seek and Destroy” and “Sad But True”) and one each from Alice In Chains (“No Excuses”) and Queen (“Stone Cold Crazy”).

  1. You know that CFD is the first site that I have saw this posted and I have just spent a good bit of time on 1up and IGN. Way to go man.

  2. I wouldn’t know about IGN (since I never visit them) but 1UP had it in the news sidebar.

It’s not really a big deal, though it IS nice when I’m able to get stuff up before those punks at Kotaku. Far too many times, they’ve beaten me by a matter of minutes on stuff.

Regardless of all that though, I’m just glad people enjoy coming here to read stuff. We don’t post a billion updates a day like Kotaku does (well, not YET anyway), but that’s mainly because we’re still growing the reader base and getting writers on board. With time, it’ll ramp up, for sure.
