Word comes via G4 that Konami’s venture into the world of iGaming, Metal Gear Solid Touch now has a solid release date. Heh, see what we did there? Solid? It’s…yeah okay, nevermind – that was weak. We apologize.

Anyway, the title will be sneaking onto the ever-crowded iTunes App store on March 18th, where you’ll be able to pick it up for $9.99. No word yet on if the game includes a mandatory half-hour cutscene or not. I almost hope it does, since the gameplay by itself looks a bit…weak.

That being said, I may have to give it a look. Hopefully there will be a free demo version up so we can try before we buy. Clear up some space on those iPods and iPhones, kids.
