Harmonix and MTV Games have announced next week’s Rock Band DLC. Four new tracks are on their way – three from established Rock Band artists and one making their video game debut.
The Offspring’s “All I Want” from 1997′s Ixnay On The Hombre and 1998′s “The Kids Aren’t Alright” from the Americana album brings the total of number of Offspring-offerings to seven tracks.
Georgia legends, R.E.M. contribute their second track (after “Orange Crush” on the first Rock Band title) in the form of their Grammy-winning mainstream breakthrough, “Losing My Religion”. Sadly, no mandolin controller has yet been announced.
Bringing up the rear is Rock Band newcomer, Richard Thompson. The British singer/guitarist contributes a song from his 1994 Mirror Blue album, “The Way That It Shows”.
As usual, tracks will run $1.99/160 space bucks on PSN/XBL respectively. Xbox Live gets the tracks on Tuesday, March 10th while PSN gets them two days later on Thursday the 12th.
