Yup, that’s it. No flowery prose introduction. No attempt to dazzle you with clever witticisms and sharp wordplay. What would be the point, really? The vast majority of you out there will most likely never even read this introduction, having stumbled upon the page at some nebulous future point in its lifetime when the post has long since left the front page. And even if you have taken the time to read this (possibly because it was linked somewhere off to the side), why do we need to be unnecessarily florid in simply welcoming you and telling you what the site is about?

This is a site about video games. Welcome to it.

There! Done and done. Simple and to the point, right? Besides, sharp wordplay and flowery prose come at a premium, which means we’re saving it all up for the actual content. Can’t go giving it up for free at the drop of a hat; you’ll develop a bad reputation that way and we’re not that kind of girl.
